With Christmas less than a week away I should like to wish you all the very best for a wonderful festive time.
Your concerts this year have given me, and many others, so much pleasure. I personally feel that concerts and events throughout the North East and the Scottish Borders have all been so well supported and attendance only seems to continue to grow. Such good news for the future.
But above all I want to offer my heart felt thanks to you all for once again trusting me with your precious instruments, and believing that I do make a difference. From chatting on the phone or exchanging emails, to opening the instrument case at that first consultation. Seeing an instrument for the first time or an ‘old friend’ returning for a check-up is always a pleasure, a real delight. Then handling your instrument on my bench, working diligently, and to then handing it back. It’s a beautiful cycle that I never tire of. So please do keep in touch, and know that you and your instrument are always welcome.
This is an important job that we do together, maintaining our instruments for use today and ultimately conserving these extraordinary instruments for the next generation to enjoy.
